Taimoor Abdullah is a first-year student of the Master’s in International Education Policy and Management at Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. He is a Fulbright scholar from Pakistan. He started his career in education development as a Fellow at Teach For Pakistan, where he worked at an underserved elementary school on the outskirts of Islamabad, Pakistan. After that, he worked in the Fellow recruitment, selection, and matriculation team at Teach For Pakistan. Before coming to Vanderbilt, he worked for a year as the Program Manager for the National Institute of Excellence in Teacher Education (NIETE) in Pakistan, where he managed deployment of ed-tech interventions in 400+ elementary schools across two regions (Islamabad and Quetta), impacting more than 100,000 students.

He is deeply interested in evidence-based policy-making in K-12 education and wants to go back to Pakistan after his graduate studies to improve the education ecosystem in Pakistan.
