Small Language Interpretable Model

In SLIM, learners explore how language models predict, generate, and explain text through interactive activities. By experimenting with prompts, word choices, training data, steering, and attribution, SLIM helps children build a concrete understanding of how language models work. The project supports children in critically examining AI systems and imagining more transparent and responsible uses of AI.
